Tekkit doesnt even touch your minecraft.jar
its a whole different client, meaning instead of minecraft.jar, it uses techniclauncher.jar
the only thing it uses in .minecraft is screenshots,I think.

only concrete, marble, and basalt. Pretty much all the rest of the stuff is redstone.
