Before Nocturne, people believed that dreams were figments of their imaginations, meaningless images that flashed through the mind when one slept. This belief was put to the test when a rash of sleep-related incidents started afflicting summoners of the League. Some would wake up screaming, terrified and beyond consolation. Some could not fall asleep, slowly going mad as the nights ticked by. Some simply never woke up. Physicians were baffled until a Field Architect happened to pass out next to a nexus on the Twisted Treeline. Witnesses said he cried out once and then stopped breathing. Immediately after, magical energy arced out from the nexus, and Nocturne appeared.
Nocturne did not take his introduction to this world kindly. He slaughtered everything he could find before summoners were able to magically confine him. After a period of intense study, League experts divined that Nocturne hunted summoners in their sleep, attacking them in a place where their magic was useless. This seemed to be his only purpose. The families of the victims demanded justice, but League officials were concerned that death might only return Nocturne to the place from which he came. They bound him to a nexus fragment, trapping him in the physical world. As punishment for his crimes, they allowed summoners to call upon Nocturne in League matches, bending his will to the summoners he hates and creating his own personal nightmare. League scholars don’t know whether he truly came from the plane of dreams, or whether there are any more like him. Some theorize that the summoning act affected the summoners' subconscious minds, luring Nocturne to them in their sleep. Perhaps the most disturbing theory is that Nocturne is a person’s nightmare come to life. If this is true, they wonder, who is the dreamer?

It felt like a neverending nightmare. That's because it WAS.
In the real world, I was asleep. The family had just had an incident with Nocturne. And Ahri was investigating.
She paced, and paced. Thinking. Alice, came over to pet me. And cats senses are alert when they sleep. So it was strange.
She kept petting me but not even my ear twitched. She didn't notice at first. She put her elbow on the wood, and it slipped causing it to hit me hard in the stomach. Nothing. No twitch. No hiss. nothing. She told Ahri. Who stopped pacing to listen.
Nocturne had put me under a curse. But she was magic. Ahri stepped back, beginning her spell. It was over. The curse was lifted. BOTH curses. I was free! I could change to a human. I woke up, fur sticking up. Those nightmares were so real.
"Nocturne" That's all Ahri said.
I didn't know what that meant though. What was Nocturne? WHO was Nocturne? But I knew one thing, which made me happiest the most. I was free. One hour later, the door opened. I rushed out. Sprinting into the trees. behind me was disappointed and sad faces. But I didn't look back. The trees rustling seemed to whisper "free". I knew I was free. I turned into a human. Felt the feel of transforming. The world felt small, now that I was once more tall. A few hours later, it was sunset. I accomplished nothing. Days passed. I accomplished few things though. Something felt missing. I felt it in the heart. I walked out of the trees into the sunshine. It felt like my heart was somewhere else. I turned into a cat. I walked for about an hour. When I saw the house. I dashed forward scratching on the door. It opened a happy face picked me up. My tangled tangled fur brushing up to them.
You know what? I thought, Home is where the heart is. And this, is home.

Nami point of view.
I Recovered from the incident pretty quickly. with the right preoccupations, i could overcome ANYTHING.
"Alice?" i asked gingerly "Are you okay? the incident was quite frightening" i said in my high pitched soft, bell tone voice.
"Oh, don't worry nami! i'm perfectly fine." she smiled. "I've had monsters attack me in the woods before" she laughed sincerely. i smiled, she wasn't being hurt by the incident. or at-least, she wasn't showing it.
"Would you like to go into the town?" Alice suggested in her rabbit-tone voice.
"Ooh! that will be a-lot of fun!" i said back "We can go shopping!"i giggled with excitement.
We skipped off on the path to the town holding hands and talking. there was no sexual tension between us, i couldn't even feel it from her, it just felt nice to have somebody who is comfortable enough with me that they are willing to have a physical conenction, without any sort of sexual tension. nobody would mistake us for a couple, i WAS wearing pretty much all girls clothes, and these amazing warm boots alice got for me. we went over to browse the stores. we were skipping around, and being as loud as we wanted, its not like we noticed anybody staring at us, and even when we did, we didn't really care.
"Ooh! Alice! the ice-cream parlor! do you want to visit there first?" I asked excitedly, pointing to the parlor
"Yes! which flavor are you getting? i'm getting the sort of magenta-ish berry flavor. you?"
"I Think ill get the hot pink strawberry one!" i skip ahead, pulling her along with me. i absolutely LOVE ice-cream. and i don't have it that often!
After we grab our ice-cream, we decide to go tease some boys. We see one particularly attractive one, and after deciding how to confront him, we walk up to him.
"Hi there!" alice says cheerfully. "How are you?". he looks a bit taken aback, but he says "um, fine. how are you?"
"We thought you looked kinda sad, so we decided to come talk to you!" i said, smiling. He laughed. and said "Sad? i wouldnt say that much, just kinda bored. my names Ryan."
"My name is Alice" alice said "And my name is Nami" i said. we started chatting, and then i finished my ice-cream, and stuck the Popsicle stick in my mouth. I put my hand behind my back so Ryan and Alice wouldn't see, and summoned a flowery upwards wind. The wind blew his shirt up, giving us a view of his torso. We blushed in unison, for he was actually quite fit, and giggled.
"So, Ryan, we hope to see you around some more! you seem very nice!" i said. And very hot. i added in my head
"You two are fun i would like to see you again too. whats your phone number? we could talk some time." he said to us. i cheered a bit in my head and pulled out my hot pink phone and gave him my number. I Waved bye to him as me and alice walked away.
"Score!" i said to alice when he couldn't hear, and we both laughed.
