Haha there is a plot actually. The plot is finding Natsu's dad and developing the characters and in the end they will find the dad once everyone's story is told.

the "plot line" for fairy tail:
the main characters go on adventure using their wizard powers? they learn to work together and stuff?
the plot line for future diary:
the main character is one of twelve people that have a battle to the death using their future diaries, diary entries on their phones that predict the future. the last one standing becomes a god. the main character learns about life and death, and learns when to put his friends first. he also learns how far a person travels just for love.{doesnt put spoilers}
fairy tail has a unimportant, unoriginal, and uninteresting plot. the individual adventures are alright, but there is no base holding it together. future diary, on the other hand, is one big adventure, they have one main goal.

Fairy tail has multiple plots, like EVERY anime.
If something had one plot, a base plot, the anime would just END after it was finished, thus, fairy tail had multiple so the series could keep going.
Why when you find a 'better' anime, do you hte fairy tail? You used to love it D:

whats bad about an anime ending?
i found some animes that are MUCH better then fairy tail, BECAUSE they have a plot line, and it is original, interesting, action-packed, and dramatic.
i never genuinely liked fairy tail, but all my friends did, so i thought i had to, so i faked it.

Fairy tail has a plot line, but that plot line finishes and then there is a filler, then a new plot, that's how they worked it.
I admit, fairy tail is more so a comedic anime, but it's still funny as hell and good to watch
I thought you liked it and that was the only reason I started in the first place :/
